Beginning…
I always had dogs, I still have them and no doubt that they are always are going to be part of my life.
There is a program that called "Animal Planet". My husband Sergay, God bless him, about four years ago, was watching TV one day and came across that program about dog breed named American Akita. He really liked the look of American Akita but that program showed the difficult temper of this breed. But he didn't pay any significant attention to this breed at that time.
And one day we have made decision to purchase a dog.
To start our search, first of all we checked out relevant internet pages for breed that suits our lifestyle, have a good temper and looks beautiful. At that very moment, Sergay has flashed back about American Akita. We have looked through pictures of that breed and noticed that there are two different kinds of Akita breeds. Akita Inu and American Akita.
At that time we were in Bulgaria and I want to come back having a pup.
We were looking for two months old pup that we will be able to collect on our way back home. But everything was going wrong. Pups that we could find were just born or were expected shortly.
At the same time in St. Petersburg a few pups were expected to be born. And we reserved the female .
But we continued to search for a 2-3 months old pup in Bulgaria. I could not leave the idea to come back with the dog.
The reserved pup was already born in St. Petersburg, but I kept looking for another dog. Twice we were on our way to get another pup, but every time there were circumstances that prevented us to buy those dogs.
Later I left that idea, I stopped argue with my destiny to get the dog that was born FOR US.
At last we met each other.
THERE ARE NO WRONG DOGS. THIS JUST MEANS THAT YOUR DOG WAS NOT BORN YET.
I hope our site will help you to know this wonderful breed better.
But I want to let you know that those ‘’teddy bears’’ are not for everyone.
